MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- In keeping with the Somerville brand values ensure that presentation and conduct is professional at all times
- Actively search out and action new sales opportunities
- Promote the Somerville Hino brand at networking events and shows
- Upkeep a good general knowledge of the market place and products available
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of Somerville Hino used vehicles
- Answer e-leads, phone calls, and walk in inquiries in a prompt and professional manner
- Properly qualify all prospective customers
- When required accompany customers on test drives
- Present professional solutions to address customer needs
- Write sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies
- Develop and present sales proposals, presentations and sales contracts to clients
- Co-ordinate with the Inventory Manager for all service and detailing requirements
- Co-ordinate with management and administration team to accomplish work to close sales
- Accountable to meet or exceed sales quotas, prepare status reports, closing documentation and appropriate follow-up
- Report all client issues to management immediately
- Sell new & used Hino Trucks (Class 4-7)
- Promote Somerville Hino Service, Parts & Rentals. We offer a one stop solution to all of our customer’s needs
- Communicate with all departments in an effort to serve our customers better
- Perform other duties as required by management
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain an OMVIC license and follow all OMVIC guidelines
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Provide in office floor coverage when required
- Truck Specification knowledge is an asset
- Motivated & strong communicator, both written and oral
- Minimum 5 years truck sales experience
- Finance experience is considered an asset
- Mechanical minded to communication technical information to customers accurately
- Attend and participate in manufacturer & dealer training
